PROJECT SUMMARY
As part of a $191 million project to completely expand and renovate the existing port, phase 2A will add 1,300 linear feet of speed humps to north and southbound inspection lanes. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2023. The project will increase the amount of north and southbound lanes and outfit each lane with speed humps.
The United States Customs and Border Protection (part of US Homeland Security) needed the most high-quality and long-lasting product available for such a demanding application. Only Barco Products' Premium Speed Humps fit the bill and were required for this project.
